About us:

We are Jeroen and Monique, we have had the dream of living and working in Italy for 25 years. Jeroen was an independent entrepreneur in the financial sector for many years and also did volunteer work. Monique has quit her job as maternity care manager in order to fully focus on renting the 6 spacious apartments, organizing retreats, the vegetable garden and maintenance of the garden together with Jeroen in Italy.

Now that our 2 sons have left home, we are finally taking this step. We fell in love with the Le Marche region more than 15 years ago. After years of searching and many viewings, we have now found the perfect property for us!

Casal dei Fichi is a traditional farmhouse that has been carefully restored into luxury holiday apartments, situated in a quiet spot with spectacular views over the rolling countryside. Your spacious, well-appointed apartment offers everything you need for a relaxing and luxurious holiday in one of the undiscovered parts of Italy.

The extensive, landscaped grounds are surrounded by sunflower and grain fields and olive groves and offer plenty of space to seek out the sun or shade under a tree or in a hammock. Your panorama includes the breathtaking views of the rolling countryside, medieval towns and the fantastic Sibillini Mountains.

There is your own private garden on the property where you can dine or relax in complete privacy.

Each apartment has a spacious living room with a double sofa bed. There is a fully equipped kitchen/dining room, a beautiful large private terrace (1 apartment with spacious balcony), a luxurious bathroom and a spacious bedroom with a king-size bed. Complimentary produce: Guests are encouraged to pick produce daily from our vegetable and herb garden, as well as fruit from the orchard and eggs from our chickens - no food miles here and everything tastes delicious, straight from the garden to your plate in a few minutes!

Pizza party: Every week we organize a free pizza party. We make the dough and provide the ingredients, and you get the chance to roll out and make your own pizza of your choice. Baked in our original stone oven in the garden, it's an enjoyable evening with a glass or two of local wine - enjoyed by everyone!
